Act I
The Name & the Story

Kaar (कार) is Hindi for maker.

Kalakaar. Jaadukaar. Contentkaar. This is a maker's studio — films, edits, and AI experiments, built in public.

Behind the studio sits 8 years of professional craft — every frame of it delivered under client NDAs, none of it public. Until now.

So the studio is building its portfolio from scratch, in the open, over 90 days. Every video connects to the last. The work becomes the story; the story becomes the brand.

The Films

Three premieres, scheduled.

Nothing here is finished yet — that is the point. These are the three films this studio has committed to making in public. Each appears here the day it premieres.

The film that comes from 24 days of starting over.

A short film built from nothing, its direction chosen by the audience on Day 14 — written, previsualised, shot solo and edited in public.

What I built when no one was watching.

A self-assigned client brief run exactly like agency work — deadline, revisions, deliverables — with the entire process shown.

The finale

90 days. From stillness to a body of work.

The documentary of the ninety days — every experiment, failure and finished frame, cut as one film.

Day 73 · #ContentkaarChallenge

The next frame is yours.

One phone, one idea, one honest story. The community watches together, and the story that resonates most gets a full breakdown.

The Reel

A showreel, assembling itself.

There is no showreel yet — there is a commitment to build one in public. This is the light it starts from; real frames replace it as they are shot.

The Mark

A seal, not a logo.

The Maker's Sealक — the first letter of कार (kaar), meaning maker. Craftsmen stamp their work. This is ours.

Fourteen raysThe scalloped edge is a traditional mohar and a sun — fourteen rays of prana, the energy the work runs on.

Short films, brand films, and campaign stories — from one-page idea to final delivery, end to end.

AI Film Production

🎨

Color & Sound

Quiet grades and sound design that nobody notices — which is exactly the point. The film just feels right.

🔒

Trusted by brands we can't name. Eight years of client work sits under NDA — that's exactly why this portfolio is being rebuilt in public. You don't have to take our word for the craft. Watch it happen, day by day.

The Process

From brief to something whole.

01

The Brief

One conversation. What's the story, who's it for, what should it feel like.

02

The Stillness

Script, references, AI previz — the film is rehearsed before a single frame is shot.

03

The Craft

Shoot and edit, with honest work-in-progress check-ins. No black box.

04

The Seal

Grade, sound, and finish — it ships only when it earns the stamp.

Questions

Asked, answered.

What can I hire the studio for?+
Editing and post-production, short films and brand films, ad and campaign edits, AI film production and previz, color grading, and sound design. One project or end-to-end — if it's a story in motion, it's in scope.
Can I see past client work?+
Honestly — no. Eight years of it sits under NDA. That's exactly why this 90-day public portfolio exists: instead of showing you old work, we're making new work in front of you. Scroll up, watch it happen.
Do you use AI on client projects?+
Where it serves the story — previsualisation, concept frames, and hybrid films — and always disclosed, always directed. AI generates footage. Taste makes films. You're hiring the taste.
How do we start?+
Send one email with whatever you have — a script, a deck, or three honest sentences. You'll get an approach and an estimate within 48 hours.
